Our Story
Our founder, Darrahl Foley, didn't just stumble into the wine world—it is built into his DNA. Darrahl’s journey began in 1977 working alongside his father in the fast-paced restaurant industry. After five years of mastering restaurant management and a creative detour into the 1980s music industry, Darrahl found his ultimate calling in fine wine.
He spent years honing his palate and sourcing skills at a legendary, premier wine shop in Canoga Park, CA, working closely with industry icon David Breitstein. When that historic shop closed its doors after 47 successful years, Darrahl knew he wanted to keep that same dedication to quality and community alive.
In 2013, See Me For Wine was born.
