The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III is very deep purple-black in color and slips sensuously out of the glass with notes of warm blackberries, black raspberries, cassis and Indian spices plus suggestions of underbrush, fragrant earth and tapenade. Full-bodied, the palate has firm, grainy, tight-knit tannins and good tension, with bags of juicy black fruit and a long, understated finish.
