This relatively lean and tangy wine offers interesting flint and mineral aromas. Crisp grapefruit, white pepper and white-peach flavors follow on a medium body. The wine's restraint will be great for food pairings that call for a balanced, nervy wine. Jim Gordon

“Offers crisp lemon curd flavors, with notes of
orange zest, apple pastry and spices, a hint of
butter and fresh acidity. Packs good intensity
and harmony into a compact frame.”

Sourced from 2 single vineyards in Napa Valley, 86% of the
wine was barrel fermented and underwent malolactic
fermentation before aging on the lees for 6 months, which
adds complexity and roundness to the finished wine. 14%
of the wine was fermented in stainless steel with no
malolactic fermentation and lees stirred two times per
week for six months, a staple winemaking technique for our
Mason whites. The perfect balance of the two was then
determined for the final blend, highlighting classic Napa Valley fruit characters.
